DebatEd 201 Application

This guided independent learning experience is designed for intermediate* coaches who want focused, practical growth—not one-size-fits-all training. You’ll identify 2–4 areas where your program needs the most support and build realistic action plans with guidance along the way. The experience includes two web conference sessions and a collaborative in-person weekend at the Margaritaville Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, March 20–22. Expect hands-on work, peer collaboration, and take-home tools you can use immediately. Up to 20 hours of recertification credit may be available.

*Intermediate coaches are those who have coached 1-5 years.

When: Friday, March 20 (Check-in at 5pm) through Sunday, March 22 at 4pm.

By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you are holding a reserved spot for the program. Should you cancel or fail to attend without prior notice, you may forfeit your ability to participate in future sessions or incur other penalties, as determined by FDI.

Because the training covers substantial content in a condensed timeframe, participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions in full. Failure to attend the in-person portion of the program in full may result in disqualification from certification and/or financial responsibility for the in-person portion of the program.
