These intensive prep weekends are designed for experienced, varsity-level students who want to take their skills to the next level in their specific FCDI event. Students will be guided by skilled coaches dedicated to helping participants refine their abilities. With a small group setting, students can expect personalized, focused instruction.
We believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial situation. Accommodations will be in cabins of eight, and the early bird registration fee is just $60 per person, which includes instruction, activities, meals, and a t-shirt.
Early Registration Fee: $60 if you register by September 9, 2025
Late Registration Fee: $75 if you register on or after September 10, 2025
Last minute Drop Fee (after October 5): $40
No-show: $60
If the registration fee presents a financial hardship, please apply for a scholarship through the application form below. Please note that a coach/educator is required to sign off on the scholarship/financial assistance application.
Event Details
Drop-Off: 5:00-5:30pm Friday, October 10, 2025 at ELKS Campsite, Umatilla, Florida (24175 SE Hwy 450, Umatilla, FL 32784)
Pick-Up: 3:00pm Sunday, October 12, 2025
Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the ELKS Campsite.
A final itinerary and additional details will be provided closer to departure.
Non-School Sponsored Activity Notice:By submitting this application, both student and parent acknowledge that this ProCamp session is not sponsored by your student’s local school. The camp is administered by the Florida Debate Initiative, with the support of the Florida Civics and Debate Initiative and the Florida Department of Education.
Photography Notice:
By submitting this application, both student and parent acknowledge photography, including video will be taken throughout camp. Parent and student authorize the images and recordings to be used by the Florida Debate Initiative for promotional and educational purposes.
