Sanford, FL — October 1, 2025.
The Florida Debate Initiative (FDI) is proud to share that PresidentAbraham López has been appointed to the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections’ Inaugural Voter Advocacy Workgroup. Convened during Florida Voter Registration Week, the cross-sector workgroup brings together leaders from civic, education, business, and community organizations to expand outreach, strengthen accessibility, and improve voter education across Seminole County.
“I want our students to see that civic leadership isn’t a title; it’s a responsibility,” said López. “Your voice can move a room, and your actions can move a community. Lead by serving.”
Abraham will contribute his expertise in student voice, communication, and community partnerships to support practical solutions—from multilingual voter information and ADA-friendly resources to youth outreach that builds lifelong civic habits.
